Today, we are going to test two AI tools for building websites: Lovable AI and Figma Make.
Both tools can help create websites using AI, so the goal is to use the same prompt in both tools and compare the results.

The first tool is Lovable AI.
Lovable helps you build websites and apps simply by chatting with AI.
Figma Make
The second tool is Figma Make.
To open Figma Make, type it into your browser and click the first link. Then, log in to your account.
Creating the Prompt
Instead of typing a random prompt, we use ChatGPT to create a good prompt for the website.
The prompt asks for a premium SaaS landing page with a dark-mode editorial style and noise effects for an AI product.
It also includes:
- A modern footer
- Extra sections
- Deep blue colors
- Lightning effects
- A premium futuristic design
The resulting prompt describes a premium futuristic SaaS landing page with a deep blue theme.
Setting Up Lovable AI
Next, log in to Lovable AI by clicking Continue.
After logging in, you can fill in your profile information. For this test, the profile name is Rim Tech Studio.
This is the Lovable dashboard, where you can enter your prompt and let the AI build the page.
Setting Up Figma Make
Next, log in to Figma Make so both tools can be compared.
Both tools provide free credits when you sign up, which is useful for testing their features.
For Figma, the Starter plan is selected, followed by the website option.
The Figma Make dashboard includes options such as:
- Background
- Layout
- Fonts
- Effects
A few additional details are also added to the prompt to get the best possible result on the first try.
Generating the Websites
The same prompt is copied and pasted into both tools.
Lovable starts working on the website by building the layout and creating the visuals.
At the same time, the same prompt is pasted into Figma Make and generated using the default model.
Both tools read the prompt and begin building their pages.
The previews can then be compared side by side.
Lovable AI Results
The Lovable result looks really good.
It includes a sticky header, attractive lightning effects in the background, and a clean, premium overall design.
Scrolling down reveals more sections.
The background effect is particularly interesting, followed by a Bento grid section.
There is a small empty space in the Bento grid, but the overall design still looks good and remains consistent throughout the page.
Lovable also added a pricing section even though it was not specifically requested in the prompt.
There is also a feature section near the bottom.
Overall, Lovable produced a very good result.
Figma Make Results
Next, the Figma Make result is reviewed.
Figma Make did not build a full page and did not follow the prompt as closely.
The background effects and grid style were not implemented as expected.
The header is full width, which works well, but the overall design is not as clear.
The Bento grid is included, although there is an extra card that could be removed to make the design cleaner.
There is also a flow card and a two-column testimonial section.
The FAQ section is included as well, but it has some issues that would need to be fixed.
The layout is acceptable, but the overall design needs more work.
Final Comparison
After comparing both results using the same prompt, Lovable AI performs better in this test.

Lovable receives 8 out of 10.
There are a few small things that could be improved, but the design, visuals, and ability to follow the prompt are very good.
Figma Make — 5/10
Figma Make receives 5 out of 10.

Based on this test, Lovable AI wins the comparison.
Both tools can generate websites with AI, but in this particular test, Lovable produced a more complete and visually consistent result and followed the prompt more closely than Figma Make.
